Yup, I made a new OC. And a new species, too (feel free to use this species, as long as you credit me for it. And have fun with it! ^^). So, no info on the species, yet. Except, they were conquered by the Empire very recently and almost entirely wiped out.

Little Tia here, is one of the few survivors of the organic sweep and is found by Kivana during a Resisty relief operation to save/help the survivors. Most survivors likely escaped on ships during the invasion, since the Resisty found very few, if any survivors on the planet. Including Tia.

She hasn't got much story yet, since I just created her, but she bonds to Ki and believes she's her mother. And she's blind. Possibly deaf, too. (EDIT: Ok. Maybe not deaf, but I have been toying with the idea of the species being telepathic... and probably don't have a spoken language. They just trill and make pretty sounds.. like whales, dolphins, or even birds. Maybe they could learn a spoken language, tho.)


More Info: Tia's official age is now 3 lunar cycles (which means 3 months). (Useless species info )Trillens learn to walk at a very early age, but remain dependent on their mothers/parental guardian for at least the first 6 years, before becoming more self-sufficient.

Tia's parents were killed during the invasion, making Tia an orphan. She is also very tiny for a Trillen youngling; at only 12 inches tall, she is a runt. Also, Tia was NOT born blind, but became blinded during the Irken Organic Sweep (altho, I may reconsider this. It's not quite set in stone yet). I'm not quite sure how yet, tho; maybe too close to an explosion, or exposure to the laser cannons.

Due to her blindness, Tia now relies on her secondary visual senses, navigating and 'seeing' by sensing body heat and other energies. But, it is far more vague and lacking in details than normal vision, which often leads to her bumping into things.
